I know this is self-serving, but I wanted to send a big public thank you to Chris over at Movie Marketing Madness (one of the most consistent, prolific, interesting blogs out there) for including me in his list of shout-outs.
The only time I ever thought I'd be grouped with Anne Thompson or Jeff Wells anywhere (not to mention the other brilliant writers) would be... oh, I can't come up with a single thing. I'm struck a little speechless by the kindness of his gesture.
So... thank you Chris, and keep up the good work. We can't wait for the next post.
BTW - I was just in Chicago visiting family and thought hard about getting in touch with Chris to see if he had time to chat in person, but didn't want him to think I was some crazed blog-stalker freak, so I didn't reach out. Now I'm regretting it, and I won't make the same mistake next time.

As to the inclusion on that list: It's all about the passion you write with and the enjoyment I and other readers get from that. The great thing about the Internet is that you can be every bit as valuable a voice as Wells, Thompson or anyone else. That list was, in part, meant to be representative of that reality.
